Am I required to attend any kind of a  training program, or may I simply challenge the state CNA exam?
Answer:
No program is required. You may simply "challenge" the exam with or without attending any kind of training course.

  2. Measuring and recording a clients weight
  3. Providing and assisting with using of a bedpan
  4. Dressing a client with an affected arm
  5. Providing mouth care (toothbrush)
  6. Providing mouth care (dentures)
  7. Transferring a client from bed to a wheelchair
  8. Making an occupied bed
  9. Feeding a resident who cannot feed themselves
  10. Performing passive range of motion for the upper body
  11. Performing passive range of motion for the lower body
  12. Measuring and recording urinary output
  13. Giving a partial bed bath
  14. Providing perineal care
  15. Providing foot care
  16. Ambulating
  17. Providing catheter care
  18. Taking and recording radial pulse, counting and recording respiration

Class Availability

Flexible class times to fit your busy schedule
  • Morning Classes, 9AM-1PM
  • Afternoon Classes, 1:30PM-5:30PM
  • Evening Classes, 6PM-10PM
  • Weekend Classes, 9:30AM-3PM
  • Late Weekend Classes, 3PM-7PM (Jacksonville Only)
  • Class Dates  Jacksonville  Orlando
Each class is limited to just 8 students or less to maximize individual attention. The course consists of approximately 20 hours of hands on classroom instruction. Another 20 hours of home study is suggested in order to receive the full benefit of the course.
