Substandard or Illegal Courses

Please use Caution!!  when deciding on a Test Prep Program.

These new courses seem to be popping up like weeds, even operating out of hotel conference rooms, and in various other temporary locations.

It's almost shameful but some of them can be very substandard and you don't learn near enough to pass your state exam, or sometimes they are just plan illegal/scams.

It is against Florida law for any of these courses to use the words school in their advertisements or under the title of schools in phone books, nor is it legal for them to give out a certificate of compilation for this type of course, as these types of activity are fraudulent and can be very misleading.

If you come across any test prep course that is doing these things you can rest assured they are not operating according to the letter of Florida law.

These legal courses need to be reported to the Florida Commission for Independent Education for an inquiry.

Your report could help save someone else from a very bad and costly experience.

Because we care about our students, past/present/future, and we also care about the seniors and others that will soon be under their watch.  We have decided from the beginning to specialize in the preparation and testing of Florida Certified Nurse Assisitants only.

We operate two state approved regional testing facilities and have always stood firmly behind the course we provide.

We have never felt the need to mix in other occupations like cooking, real estate, or basket weaving just to name of few.

May we suggest that you do some homework before putting your money down.

If you do not live close enough to attend class at one of our locations, may we offer a some ways to avoid wasting your time and money on these substandard fly by night courses.

1. Only take a course that provides state testing at the same location that you have attended.    This will make the company stand behind their course.

2. Do not take any type of course that does not provide you with 100% hands-on training of all 21 state required procedures, and performed on the proper type of equipment.

3. If you have little or no experience?  Do not take any type of course that is completed in less then 20 hours.   There is just too much information to cover in a shorter amount of time.

4. It's always best to put down your deposit in person so you are able look the place over and decide if they are legitimate. Or if they have just thrown the place together to get your money.

5. Check their refund policy in case you change your mind.  Reputable companies always give refunds.

6. Use this link to see if they are indeed a Florida based corporation, and if so, how long they have been in business, and is the Florida Department of Independant education aware of their program. If not use this link to report them to the state.

7. Use this link to check for complaints with the Better Business Bureau
